Filming

YEEEEEESSSS!!!
Filming is complete. There was question as to how smoothly the weekend would go. On his way to Anderson, Sean received a phone call with news of the nuclear warhead being stolen. That night, many of the crew members stepped in to help our Technical Designer build a new warhead in a matter of hours.

Many thanks to Mr. Fuqua for loosing sleep and blood over this.

Saturday was perfect weather. After a race to find the smoke bombs, we began the day getting shots of the cop care chasing after the warhead.

Not too long after this, we had the road blocked with a school bus, a police car, a dairy truck, a pickup truck and a bucket truck. Some said it looked like a crime scene.

Residents from a nearby house pulled out their lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the spectacle.

All in all, it went well. Our young actors did a fine job. We especially appreciate their patience and that of their parents. Bud cook, who played the homeless man in “Platinum", was supposed to be a biker. He ended up doing some spectacular acting as the bus driver. He also helped out a lot by directing traffic.

Later that day, we filmed the communists and their nuclear warhead.

On Sunday, the cast and crew headed down to an old school building in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas. Once the potato and onion props were secured, filming began.

Our schedule shifted due to some complications and everyone in the kitchen had to have the meal ready an hour ahead of time. Thanks to God, the cooks, and our actor’s parents who pitched in, everything worked out great.

Old school house filming was finished by about 5:30. The cast and crew drove back up to Anderson to get more communist scene shots.

Some crew members traveled back to St. Louis that night while others stayed for more filming Monday morning.

This movie is a class project. Since it is a class project, it has to be produced according to the class’ schedule. This means that Hard Cops will probably be finished in a bout six months. However, we’ll keep you updated on here about the film’s progress.

A BIG “THANK YOU” TO EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH THIS FILM.
YOU WERE FANTASTIC!!!
